Ghost

Ghost is the smallest male I own. Nicely built and reasonably fast, he has become a solid sled dog. Unfortunately, however, Ghost really wants to be the alpha. If he didn’t give up between five and fifteen pounds to all of the other males, he might have a chance, too. When he first arrived, he seemed totally insensitive. Now, he seems to be overly sensitive. Of course he’s often getting into trouble for fighting, so we don’t have as many long periods without being yelled at as, say, any of the other dogs in the kennel. And of course, he still hasn’t resigned himself to the fact he’s not going to be an alpha, or even close. Let’s just say he’s still in the “denial” phase. Hmm, that’s four more phases to go.
